‟Teaching Human Connection using Graphic Medicine in Medical Education” by Leesha Coleman, Peyton McElroy
Abstract:
Participants will engage in a classroom style workshop where they will be immersed in a medical ethics session through the use of graphic medicine. Through small and large group discussion, they will engage with a comic that deals with a medical ethics situation. The activity will allow participants to reflect on the humanizing value of this method of instruction while learning how to integrate the style to other fields outside of medical education.
