A long standing research conference series that allows topologists and those interested in the development and applications of topology to meet together in a collaborative environment.
The Summer Conference on Topology and its Applications (SumTopo) has occurred nearly every summer since 1986. The basic and primary purposes of the SumTopo conference series are to stimulate, promote, present, and discuss topological research. In addition to several scientific special sessions and plenary/semi-plenary presentations, SumTopo frequently includes workshops and informal excursions aimed to promote the professional development of and networking among researchers.
Held at the University of South Alabama on 2025 August 11-14, this conference will feature special sessions in Set-Theoretic Topology, Topological Graph Theory, Topological Dynamics and Continuum Theory, Low-dimensional Topology, and Topology and Computing.
