This two-day virtual workshop is aimed to train participants with a mathematics background to start using Git and GitHub to create and/or contribute to mathematical software projects, requiring only a web browser and an internet connection.

The first day will be spent learning GitHub basics from the GitHub for Mathematicians handbook. The second day will be spent practicing those skills by contributing to the Doenet mathematical interactives project.
